Ji Shih Tzu- Where Type Meets Temperament
All pups from reputable breeders are sold on spay/neuter contracts unless going to show homes. That is how Pien Ji kids are sold, and if someone is selling pups otherwise, you would be better off looking elsewhere for a reputable breeder. And reputable breeders likely sell pups for less than the others! Sounds like a win-win, doesn't it?
The gene for kidney disease in Shih Tzu has been found. Tests are becoming available. Go to Dogenes for information/testing details & kits.
Pien Ji's Fergie
Fergie is a beautiful girl that I am very proud of having bred. She is a lot like Ginger Bear, her mother, in personality. Her father is CH Ningsia's Texas Ranger (Walker). In her first International Dog Show, she went Best Puppy in Show- a feat she repeated six months later. In her first AKC show, she went reserve over a very nice entry. JoAnn & I co-own Fergie, and are having a lot of fun showing her!
