This is Winter's first litter. She is a delight to have around, sweet and cuddly. (I really like the cuddly ones.) She's calm and quiet, and never starts or is involved in any trouble. The pups are very calm and sweet, so much so that taking this picture was difficult. I thought that if I put all four in the urn, they would pop right out and we would have a lovely picture of four little faces. What happened was that they all said that it was a nice urn for napping, and looking in, all you could see was gold and white hair. Plan B was to put the three boys in front, pull the girl onto the edge, and take the picture really quickly! For litter names, I used planets, since their sire's name is Mercury Rising. WInter has one marker for the RD linked gene. In the 5 generation pedigree, there are 13 BIS (Best in Show) and BISS (Best in Specialty Show- a show that's all your breed or group) winners. |
